With approaching 30 years’ experience in the retail property market, David has an extensive track record in retail agency and development, including a broad knowledge of the Central London market. Having worked with numerous landlords and retailers, he has a keen focus on establishing viable strategies for future performance and is involved in leasing a number of shopping centres for some of the UK's leading landlords. David has taken a pivotal role in advising some of the country’s top multiple retailers on their acquisition and disposal strategies throughout the UK.
David qualified as a Chartered Surveyor in 1995 and prior to setting up MMX Retail (now FMX), David was a Director of Savills and previously an Equity Partner of Blair Kirkman LLP. He has also worked at Cushman & Wakefield and Grant & Partners. David is a member of The Shop Agents Society.
David enjoys keeping fit through several sports, his favourite being skiing, where he now struggles to keep up with his three grown up boys!! He also has a passion for classic cars and sailing, having recently completed his Yachtmaster theory. David also supports of a number of charities, ELIFAR being a particular favourite. He is also the Group Chairman of his old Scout Group.
