George has over ten years’ experience advising on retail premises across the UK, acting for both owners and occupiers. He specialises in lease renewals, rent reviews, re-gears and dispute resolution, and has represented a wide range of private and public sector clients - from independents to major corporations, such as British Land, Landsec, Lloyds Banking Group, HSBC, TSB, Hertfordshire County Council, Boots, Pret A Manger, Frasers Group, Sainsbury’s and Weird Fish.
Before joining FMX Retail, George spent five years in CBRE’s retail lease consultancy team, working on high street and shopping centre assets nationwide. He previously worked at Carter Jonas and Lambert Smith Hampton, where he qualified as a Chartered Surveyor in 2019.
Outside of work, George is kept on his toes by his young son. When time allows, he enjoys sport, music and dining out. He plays for his Sunday league football team and remains a committed Tottenham Hotspur supporter, something that often calls for patience and resilience!
