Expertise

Henry has worked in Urban Agency and Development Consultancy for 10 years building an integral understanding of urban environments and a strong track record in mixed use town centre developments, as well as more traditional shopping centre and retail leasing on behalf of funds, property companies, developers, and local authorities.

Henry splits his working time between foodstore acquisitions and landlord leasing instructions.  As a passionate advocate for independent business, Henry is constantly thinking of different routes to access local businesses and challenging traditional leasing models.  Henry’s most recent mixed use development project Peach Place and Elms Field in Wokingham won the prestigious RTPI award for ‘Excellence in Planning for a Successful Economy’.

Background

Prior to starting at FMX, Henry worked in the Retail Agency & Development Team at BNP Paribas / Strutt and Parker for 6 years.  Before that, Henry worked in Asset Management looking after a diverse portfolio of retail, office, industrial, and residential assets so has a strong understanding of all aspects of property.

Henry is Chairman of the Retail and Leisure Agents Society.

Interests

Henry has two young children.  When he can find time outside of parenting, he tries to engage in his passions which include sport, gardening and the arts.  Whether it be swinging a golf club, tending to his garden or fulfilling the role of Vice Chairman of the Art for Youth London, an annual Charitable Art Fair and online exhibition, Henry goes above and beyond in everything he does.
