Kat Spybey

Background

As a business journalist for more than a decade, Kat developed a deep understanding of the fundamentals of retail property, firstly as News Editor at leading commercial real estate publication Property Week. Here she led the retail beat, breaking some of the sector’s biggest investment and lettings deals. She built on this further as Associate Editor at leading fashion business publication Drapers, before becoming Head of Digital Engagement, where she led on the redevelopment of the brand’s website, alongside its social media and newsletter strategy.

Now the director of digital marketing firm Spybey Digital, she leads the MMX Retail social media strategy, with a focus on increasing awareness and engagement around both the MMX team’s services and instructions, as well as clients’ schemes and projects.
