With the arrival of JD Sports and H&M, plus major local investment transforming Market Square and Abington Street, the town has taken a huge step forward - and the momentum is only growing from here.

Looking ahead further into 2026, we’re excited to see work begin on STACK Northampton - a brand-new destination bringing together street food, bars and entertainment, designed to create a buzzing social hub right in the heart of the town. Construction of 35-45 Abington Street will also provide new homes, retail and leisure accommodation feeding straight into the shopping centre at the First Floor.
