Prominently located on the corner of Cornmarket and Broad Street, the outdoor and lifestyle retailer has opened a four-floor flagship store, bringing one of Oxford’s most prominent retail buildings back into active use and reinforcing the ongoing demand for well-located, multi-level space in prime city centre pitches.
The deal comes after Waterstones closed its store at the landmark property last year.
The transaction secures our client a strong national covenant on a 10 year lease and re-establishes the building’s key role within one of the UK’s most resilient retail markets.
Thanks to Richard Criss of Prime Retail who acted for Mountain Warehouse. Congratulations to all involved on a brilliant deal done!
