Prime High Street Acquisition Complete – B&M in Stourbridge

Acting on behalf of our private client, we’ve just completed the purchase of this prime, freehold high street store in the historic market town of Stourbridge, which it let to B&M Retail on a new 10-year lease with no breaks.

The 33,038 sq ft store is situated on a 1.12-acre site, which also includes a 52-space car park. Its prime location, fronting onto Stourbridge High Street, also means the store sits directly opposite the main entrance to the Waitrose-anchored Ryemarket Shopping Centre.

B&M’s lease, which started in November 2023, sees the retailer pay a passing rent of £230,000 a year, reflecting just £6.87 per sq ft.
