As the sole retained agent on Woolgate Shopping Centre in Witney, Oxfordshire, we’ve completed three new lettings this year – an upsizing for Superdrug and new stores for Just For Pets and indie boardgame retailer Mystic Games – making the scheme 100% let.

Owned by USS, Woolgate is the primary shopping destination in the affluent market town, with a local catchment of 80,000 people, but the scheme’s location in the Cotswolds and just 14 miles from Oxford also enables it to tap into the area’s considerable tourist trade.

The real success of this shopping centre lies in its strong mix of both national and independent retailers, which truly serve the needs of both the local community and visiting tourists. Occupiers at the scheme are performing exceptionally well with stores exceeding expectations, and now with 4,700 new homes projected in the local plan demand is only set to grow in the near future.
