Leading on a Town Centre Regeneration Journey, From Start to Finish

4 August, 2025
With the recent opening of Opuz Kitchen – the 49th new entrant we’ve been involved in introducing to Wokingham since 2018 – the Peach Place and Elms Field developments are now fully let, drawing to a close this key chapter in the town’s transformation.

Acting initially as development consultant and then leasing agent, Henry Foreman has worked alongside Wokingham Borough Council, Wilson Bowden, local agents and colleagues to breathe new life into the town centre, delivering a tenant mix perfectly suited to the local demographic.

The result? Two award-winning schemes – Peach Place and Elms Field – that now offer shoppers and diners a dynamic array of national and independent brands. These sit alongside the conversion of a former nightclub into a thriving office and retail hub, which together have created a vibrant, resilient town centre that's bucking national trends.

At a time when many high streets have seen significant retail contraction, Wokingham has grown – and we’re proud to have played a key role in making that happen.

Take a look below at how the town centre has been transformed, and we want to say a huge thank you to everyone who’s been part of this incredible journey.
